Today is my birthday. It was great. David got up and got me a coffee from Starbucks and Krispy Kreme donuts. The kids gave me the new Sugarland cd. I love it. Mom sent me apple cake with Courtney, so we sang Happy Birthday and ate that on Monday. Courtney and I also went shopping today. I got 3 shirts, and a pair of capris. Tonight we are going out to eat after Janie has her tumbling class. Its been a great day. And thanks everyone for wishing me a great day! Love you all!
And for all you Meldrem's out there, I had to share how the cake looked after DAVID got to it.

That apple cake is hilarious. I bet that it felt good to have a little taste of home on your birthday. Is this the first one you have spent away from family?
